A Kuwait Airways Airbus A340-300, registration 9K-ANC performing flight KU-351 (dep Jun 9th) from Kuwait (Kuwait) to Kochi (India) with 225 people on board, was descending towards Kochi when the crew reported a hydraulic failure which would affect their brakes, flaps and landing gear. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Kochi’s runway 27 at a slightly higher than normal speed. Emergency services inspected the brakes before the aircraft taxied to the apron.
The aircraft remained on the ground for about 6 hours, then departed for the return flight KU-352 with a delay of 5 hours.
