JAMAICA, Queens (WABC) — On Monday, the first commercial flight from the New York area to Havana in decades takes off.
The JetBlue flight will leave from Terminal 5 at JFK. Havana also happens to be the carrier’s 100th destination.
The plane is scheduled to leave the gate just before 9 a.m. In the past few months, commercial air service launched once again between other U.S. cities and Cuba.
