WOW Air launches Reykjavik – Tel Aviv flight

January 31, 2017 By bernard.montrel@gmail.com

Icelandic low cost airline WOW Air has requested permission from the authorities in Israel for slots for six weekly flights between Iceland and Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, according to Globe. The plan is that these flights will start in June.
With this new destination WOW’s aim is not only to encourage tourism between Iceland and Israel, but also to access the Israel – North America flight market, as the airline offers flights to nine different destinations in North America from Iceland.
