RAM-Royal Air Maroc pilots go on strike over…food

January 7, 2016 By bernard.montrel@gmail.com

The pilots of the Moroccan airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) have three days refusing to eat the company menus are served aboard aircraft piloting. The unusual protest, which today several media echo, has been led by the Moroccan Line Pilots Association, which represents most of the 400 professionals within the Moroccan flag carrier.
A note of the widespread association among its members and now includes the specialized site ‘Tourisma Post “complains” the apparent degradation of the quality of food allowance “and an alleged” change of terms of agreement on options and amounts “.
Pilots have chosen to order your meals at home in their scales abroad, without it being clear whether the bill is paid by themselves or go to the company.
The site, which ironically calls this protest “strike caviar”, reflects the opinion of a flight commander anonymous recalling that his office requires great concentration and that “the minimum is that we serve a decent meal.”
