Southwest Airlines 737-700 returns to Boston with four injured because of turbulence

A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration N920WN performing flight WN-147 from Boston,MA to Chicago Midway,IL (USA) with 133 passengers, was climbing through FL370 out of Boston at about 23:30L (03:30Z May 17th) when the crew decided to return to Boston due to severe turbulence having caused injuries to two cabin crew and two passengers. The aircraft landed safely back on Boston’s runway 33L about 50 minutes after departure.
The airline reported the aircraft encountered severe turbulence causing minor injuries to two flight attendants and two passengers. The flight attendants were taken to a hospital, the two passengers were treated at the airport.
The FAA reported two persons received possibly serious injuries, two received unknown injuries when the aircraft encountered turbulence.
A replacement Boeing 737-700 registration N490WN reached Chicago with a delay of 4.5 hours
