Shooting outside Dallas Love Field Airport

Shooting outside Dallas Love Field Airport

June 10, 2016 By bernard.montrel@gmail.com

One person has been hospitalized following an apparent officer-involved shooting outside Dallas Love Field Airport on Friday afternoon.
Video from a witness shows a chaotic scene as travelers screamed while scrambling for cover near the upper-level baggage claim area as nine gunshots are heard in the background.
The video also shows an officer holding a gun on an individual, telling that person to stay down and get back.
Officials have not said what led to the shooting.
One person has been transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas in an unknown condition, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue officials.
Flights into and out of Love Field have not been affected. Flights at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport are also not impacted, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The Transportation Security Administration confirms to NBC 5 that they are “aware of the incident,” but that “this is a local law enforcement matter.”
