A Norwegian Air Shuttle Boeing 737-800, registration LN-DYU performing flight DY-4321 from Stockholm (Sweden) to Nice (France) with 185 people on board, was enroute at FL360 about 55nm southwest of Copenhagen (Denmark) when a forward galley oven emitted smoke prompting the crew to discontinue the flight to Nice and divert to Copenhagen. The aircraft landed safely on Copenhagen’s runway 22L about 20 minutes later.
A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration LN-DYE reached Nice with a delay of 9.5 hours.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground 30 hours after landing.
