A WestJet flight from Vancouver to Ottawa was diverted to Thunder Bay after being subject to a threat, the airline says.
WestJet says the plane flying route WS142 landed safely in Thunder Bay, and authorities deemed the threat “non-specific and non-credible.”
The plane, according to FlightAware, left Vancouver at 4:25 p.m. and landed in Thunder Bay about three hours later. FlightAware reports the plane is a Boeing 737.
Calls to Transport Canada were not immediately returned.

A WestJet plane which was scheduled to travel from Vancouver to Ottawa was diverted to Thunder Bay International Airport Wednesday.
The company posted a tweet which said it received a threat against Flight WS142 but “authorities have determined it to be non-credible.”
The airline said the plane was diverted just after 10:30 p.m. at the request of Transport Canada.
Thunder Bay Police said in a statement the RCMP had received information of a possible explosive onboard the aircraft.
WestJet said it landed at Thunder Bay International Airport safely and none of the 125 passengers and crew on board were injured.
The airline did not reveal the exact source of the threat but that the investigation has been turned over to the police.
