Inflight fight diverts Alger-Paris flight

February 8, 2016 By bernard.montrel@gmail.com

A flight from Algiers bound for Paris has had to divert to Lyon after a “big brawl” erupted on board the aircraft, according to two sources on Twitter.
The Air Méditerranée flight from Algiers was due to land at Paris’s Charles de Gaulle airport around 1.20 p.m. Monday, but it’s understood that the pilot was forced to divert to Lyon after a fight broke out.
The flight has now landed at Lyon’s Saint-Exupéry airport and passengers have disembarked.
It is not yet clear, however, whether it was passengers or staff involved in the fight, or if there have been any injuries.
