Today’s featured picture shows an IranAir Boeing 747-230BM registered EP-IAI flying high above Shiraz, Iran. EP-IAI is a Boeing 747-230BM (MSN: 22670 <> l/n: 550) that was built in 1981 and is powered by four General Electric CF6-50E2 engines, it first flew with Lufthansa (1982-2004), then with Air Universal (2004-2006) before being sold to IranAir.
