An Elytra Charter Canadair CRJ-200, registration D-AJOY performing a charter flight from Tromso (Norway) to Geneva (Switzerland) with 10 passengers and 3 crew, was descending through about FL100 towards Geneva when the crew declared emergency reported they had lost all their air speed indications. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Geneva’s runway 05 about 15 minutes later.
Switzerland’s SUST reported the crew declared emergency due to the loss of indication of air speed on all instruments during descent. The aircraft landed safely, there were no injuries and no damage.
Germany’s BFU reported they are assisting the investigation representing the state of operator. The BFU reported the aircraft lost the indication of air speed, the crew declared emergency and continued for a landing. There were 2 minor injuries, the aircraft sustained no damage.
