Dreamliner becomes Caravelle in “Port2Port” news article

October 11, 2015 By bernard.montrel@gmail.com

The media has been able to reach a new low when it comes to representing the aviation world, Israeli news website Port2Port has recently posted an article about how United Airlines would start San Fransisco – Tel Aviv with the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. However instead of posting a picture of a United Airlines 789, the journalist posted a picture of a Caravelle! Now United Airlines did have the Caravelle in its fleet, but it was from 1961 to 1973 and the Caravelle only had a range of 920nm (SFO-TLV is 6449nm per GCM).
