RENO, Nev. — Delta Air Lines will once again offer nonstop service between Reno-Tahoe International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
The airline announced on Friday that service will start between the cities in December with three flights each way a week. Between Service will be reduced to one flight weekly from Atlanta on Saturday and one flight from Reno on Sundays starting Jan. 7.
Tickets for the direct service went on sale Saturday.
Delta previously operated an Atlanta-Reno route from 2004 to 2009.

DELTA in winter 2016/17 season plans to operate Atlanta – Reno route, opened for reservation over the weekend of 01MAY16. From 19DEC16, the airline will operate Boeing 757 aircraft on this route 3 times a week (Day 135 from ATL, Day 246 from RNO) during Christmas and New Year Holidays, and will switch to 1 weekly (Day 6 from ATL, Day 7 from RNO) operation from 04JAN17.
