An Azur Air Boeing 767-300, registration VQ-BSX performing flight ZF-7777 from Moscow Domodedovo (Russia) to Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), was climbing out of Domodedovo’s runway 14R when an engine (CF6) ingested a bird prompting the crew to stop the climb at FL130, burn off fuel and return to Domodedovo Airport for a safe landing 2:15 hours after departure.
A replacement Boeing 767-300 registration VP-BUX reached Punta Cana with a delay of 6 hours.
