American Eagle (operated by PSA Airlines) CRJ-900 has smoke in the flight deck

A PSA Airlines Canadair CRJ-900 on behalf of American Airlines, registration N552NN performing flight AA-5490 from Louisville,KY to Charlotte,NC (USA) with 64 people on board, was approaching Charlotte when the crew reported smoke in the cockpit. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Charlotte’s runway 18R. Attending emergency services found no trace of fire, heat or smoke.
