August 16, 2016 By bernard.montrel@gmail.com

A Condor Airbus A320-200, registration D-AICD performing flight DE-1686 from Hamburg (Germany) to Heraklion (Greece), was enroute at FL340 about 60nm north of Belgrade (Serbia) when the crew decided to turn around and divert to Munich due to a hydraulic failure. On approach to Munich the crew performed an alternate gear extension and landed the aircraft safely on Munich’s runway 26L about 70 minutes after turning around.
