Aberdeen Airport has apologised to passengers after the temporary closure of its runway caused flights to be cancelled or delayed.
The airport was shut on Wednesday evening to allow damage to be repaired.
The airport has now fully re-opened, but passengers are being asked to contact their airline for details of rescheduled flights.
An airport spokesman said the damage was on “a very small section of tarmac at the south end of the runway”.
A statement said: “We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.”
Fog on Thursday morning was causing further cancellations and delays.
The airport terminal is currently undergoing a £20m revamp.
The redevelopment will increase the size of the existing terminal by 50% – its biggest upgrade since it opened in 1977.
